What are the steps to proper canvas care?

In order to extend the life of your product, you need to follow a proper canvas care regime.

1. The first step to canvas care is to keep it clean by using a soapy water solution such as liquid dish soap, water and a brush.
2. The next step to is to wash the canvas every 6 months (more for hasher cases); allow to air dry.
3. The last but most important step to ultimate canvas care is, DO NOT USE harmful chemicals such as bleach, Pine Sol, Oxyclean, etc.; doing so will weaken the fabric and stitching over time. (Using harsh chemicals on Sunbrella will also void the manufacturer’s warranty.)
